How to get there ?
Starting from belgium, You will have around 900 km to the starting point near Val d’Isére. Please note that this itinerary is only feasable with the Toyota Hilux due to the complexity of the mountains tracks.
When to go?
Mountain weather can be changing rapidly, and the Alps are no exception. In one day we have seen -2°C and +30°C as the day warms up and we descend into a valley. This adventure will go trough mountains mainly so it is only possible to do it between June and september. You will have to foresee proper clothes & equipments as you will be a high altitude region
What to expect ?
The Alpine Expedition is an incredible 7 days adventure between the French Italian border in the Western Alps. We aim to be driving some of the most spectacular routes in Europe both on and off road over some of Europe's highest mountain pass. We encourage you also to explore it by foot, bikes …
Inspirational itinerary ?
When you book the crossing of the Alps, we will give you the tracks from the beginning to the end.
You can also leave the trails if you want to shorten the itinerary. The entire itinerary is approximetly 7 days but you can of course do only a section.The Alpine trip offers spectacular off-roading on a tour through France and Italy. The routes pass through regions which are ski resorts in the winter, but quiet and sunny during the summer, catering for a wide variety of outdoor pursuits.
Our route into Italy from France will take us over one of the oldest trade routes between the two countries.
